Wingpet is most often spotted in coastal areas, particularly places where Wingull gather. It tries to join the flock, but its appearance and eerie cry instead sends the birds flying away in terror.

This Pokémon roams about deep in the night seeking such negative emotions as grudges and envy. It makes its nest on a sheer cliff at the edge of the sea.
