Walchu use their sharp tails to secure themselves as they travel along ice. When threatened, they rapidly jab their tails into the ice surrounding them while discharging electricity, using the fractured shards as conductors.

If it stores too much electricity, its behavior turns aggressive. To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life.
