The bivalve Pokémon releases a viscous sap from where the shells meet together. This enables a Vileder to slam its shell shut without damaging the internal organs, making it hard to pierce through.
At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep. In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a POKENAME turns yellow with the powder as it walks.
