Venulava have a coating of bark across their stomach to help protect them when they dig underground. When they sleep they do so with their head resting outside of their burrows, letting their petals drape around them and absorb sunlight.
It intimidates foes with intense gusts of flames and superheated air. Venulava's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
