Vapordle make their way into lakes and rivers to eat seaweed beneath the water's surface. They are capable of swimming for short periods of time, which is just enough to drag a piece of seaweed back to shore.

A Vapordle has an extremely acute sense of smell. Vapordle underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater.
