Vaporbat's four wing-like fins drive it through the ocean with great speed. While it can leap out of the water and fly above the waves to escape predators, it will quickly tire and must return to the sea to rest.

Over the course of evolution, its hind legs turned into wings. Vaporbat underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater.
