Rapiper can run so quickly that it is able to flit along the surface of water. The heat it generates causes the surface of the water to heat up greatly, dragging small Pokémon to the surface, where Rapiper snaps them up.
Rapiper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It usually canters casually in the fields and plains.
