The spines along a Goseed's body are composed of nephrite jade. Goseed will use their sturdy bodies to carve out spots to burrow within caves, eating the minerals inside to help grow their spines.
They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock. It is said to live in volcanic craters on mountain peaks.
