The lights on Miniras's shell change colours based on which note Miniras is currently singing. Its voice is so melodious that tour groups frequent Miniras's environment during mating season to hear their cries.
People have driven Miniras almost to the point of extinction. Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy.
