On close inspection, Pumpvoir appears to float just above the ground. Researchers believe it is to cover up the fact that their tiny legs lack the locomotion to get anywhere faster than a crawl.
It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power. The pumpkin body is inhabited by a spirit trapped in this world.
