Swarms of Fopede can be seen trimming small bushes and trees with their sharp mandibles to make them look neat and tidy. They are commonly kept by gardening enthusiasts.

During the day, it sleeps and soaks up light. If Fopede doesn't absorb enough energy, it spends the night hunting any small Pokémon it can find.

It discovers what is going on around it by using the feelers on its head and tail. When the sun rises, Fopede spreads its four leaves and bathes in the sunlight.
