Its serrated edge means that it's extremely hard to remove a Tyranedge from its prey once it slashes them. Once in place, it waits for its meal to pass out then finishes the job.

Apparently this Pokemon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited.
