The gem growing on Sablwig's head becomes vibrant and shiny when it is healthy, but grows dull when it is sick. Its strong jaws are enough to dissuade most smaller rock-eating Pokémon from attacking it.
Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water. It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems.
