After evolving, Woomie still desires Water Stones. Older members of the species have been known to keep up to 3 in their nest, guarding them from other Pokémon, even Wooyu. Much mythology surrounds this behaviour.
People in ancient times imagined that Woomie were transformed from the reflections of stars that twinkled on gentle waves at night. Woomie usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally.
