For reasons still not entirely clear, each individual Snubtortle has an extreme personality. Whether utterly over-affectionate, intensely stubborn, or vicious and aggressive, Snubtortle is often regarded by Trainers as a handful.
Its large tail is covered with rich, thick fur that deepens in color with age. By baring its fangs and making a scary face, it sends smaller Pokémon scurrying in terror.
