Shelper knock heads together hard as a form of greeting, their armour is so thick they do not feel it. Unfortunately, they also do this to those of other species, which often stuns them. Shelper watch over them as they recover but never learn.
Shelper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It hardly eats while it awaits evolution.
