Zucruel is found in the deep ocean and lakes found inside caverns since it has no need for eyesight, instead sensing movement with its bulbous organs. It paralyzes prey with toxins in its tentacles and slowly drains the blood.

It lives in complex rock formations on the ocean floor and traps prey using its 80 tentacles. While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision.
