By altering its appearance with illusions, Zodew makes its bud resemble the surrounding flowers. When a potential meal comes within reach, the bud parts to expose razor-sharp claws that capture the prey.
Over the winter, it closes its bud and endures the cold. To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon.
