When one of the spirits contained in Yasect's body gains full control, the mushroom on its back grows to cover most of its body to reflect the spirit's dominance.
Yasect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages.
