Wurmdew spend much of their lives searching forests for a safe place to evolve. To avoid predators, they conceal themselves among shrubs. When they find a suitable tree, the buds on their heads unfurl and spin a silken cocoon around them.
Over the winter, it closes its bud and endures the cold. It sticks to tree branches and eats leaves.
