Individually weak, Wingamo gather together in great flocks to share electrical charges and increase their strength. Working together as one, they can fling down thunderbolts strong enough to bring down a Gyarados.

Flocking together near the water's surface, dazzling shows of electricity being passed between each Wingamo can be seen from the shoreline. Swimmers are advised to exit the water until the Wingamo return to their underwater caverns.

These Pokémon move in schools. It makes its nest on a sheer cliff at the edge of the sea.
