Often found in caverns with powerful electromagnetic phenomena, Volteye empower themselves using electricity. They seem outwardly friendly, but will occasionally use explosions to knock out passersby and rummage through their belongings.
It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems. It bears an uncanny and unexplained resemblance to a Pok? Ball.
