Vilepie's flesh is incredibly allergenic, and even a peck at it causes severe pain and inflammation in the mouths of its predators. Thus, it goes about its life placidly, showing no fear of other Pokémon.

Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation. In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Vilepie turns yellow with the powder as it walks.
