Many Venubat live upwards of thirty years. They siphon nectar and pollinate flowers from the same patches of land every year. They become incredibly confused if their favorite flower patches are torn up for construction projects.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. Venubat's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
