Venullery are able to leave the water for prolonged periods of time, their symbiotic plants letting them breathe despite being in the air. They'll use this ability to escape larger Pokémon, pulling themselves into bushes to hide until they feel safe.

It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow. Venullery's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
