Venucargo live on tropical islands that have high levels of volcanic activity. They travel out onto cooling lava flows, a special enzyme from their bodies dissolving the basalt and letting them absorb the rich nutrients to fuel their flower's growth.
The shell on its back is made of hardened magma. Venucargo's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
