Adapted for life as an underwater hunter, Vaportrum's large jaws connect to gills in its throat. On land, it keeps its mouth full of water to prevent them from drying out.
Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. Vaportrum underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater.
