Ursasand use music and a pleasant aroma to lure small Pokémon inside them. Once inside, Ursasand subject them to frightening hallucinations, feeding off their fear for nearly five hours before spitting them out.

Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained. In forests, it is said that there are many streams and towering trees where an Ursasand gathers food.
