Tyranruff dislike bathing and avoids moving water whenever possible. When they most polish themselves, they do so all on their own; they take care not to sand down any sharp parts of their rocky body.
This Pokémon has lived with people since times long ago. Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited.
