Researchers once misidentified Tyranidos fossil fragments as a previously unknown evolution of Cranidos, especially because of their dome skull. However, Tyranidos's spiky ruff allowed researchers to confirm they are an entirely separate species.
It lived in jungles around 100 million years ago. Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited.
