Turferno gently plants seeds and nurtures the plants they grow into all across the region. It has been noted that the flora it grows flourish better in the soil in locations of burned-down forests.

To intimidate attackers, it stretches the fire on its tail to make itself appear bigger. Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water.
