These Pokémon rest at alternating times to allow their vines to absorb and store either sunlight or moonlight. When they awaken, they often snap at their own vines due to mistaking them for small Bug-type Pokémon wriggling around.

Even while eating or sleeping, one of the heads remains always vigilant for any sign of danger. Its vines snap off easily and painlessly if they are grabbed, allowing it to make a quick getaway.
