Talonor are commonly seen congregating on dark, moonless nights. Using their vast energy reserves, they fly through the night sky, each bursting with energy in organized patterns, igniting the sky. The resulting formations resemble Talonflame.

Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. In the fever of an exciting battle, it showers embers from the gaps between its feathers and takes to the air.
