Swirsect uses the mound of cotton candy on its back to attract Bug-type Pokémon and traps them in its sticky strands. Once they are exhausted by the struggle, Swirsect will strike with its hard candy claws.
Swirsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. To entangle its opponents in battle, it extrudes white threads as sweet and sticky as cotton candy.
