Sunrak make silk webs over sunny patches to give themselves a place to soak up sunlight. When another Pokémon runs into their web, they bite down with venomous fangs to discourage the Pokémon from breaking their web in the future.
The web it spins can be considered its second nervous system. Sunrak try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution.
