When Stunoh lies flat on the floor or against a wall, it is easily mistaken for a painted image rather than a real Pokémon. Researchers are searching for Stunoh in ruins, but it tends to fly away as soon as humans are no longer looking at it.

Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. It conceals itself in the mud of the seashore.
