When threatened, Blastslash will hide in its shell and then curl into a ball. Blastslash can still fire its bullets of water while in this form, and its high speed tackles hurt even more thanks to the spines on its shell.
It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks. The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate.
