Contrary to popular belief, Blastreon actually fires clouds of boiling steam from its sprouts. It usually uses this ability to cook its usual prey, mollusk Pokémon, boiling them completely in a matter of seconds.
Blastreon's fluffy fur releases heat into the air so that its body does not get excessively hot. The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate.
