Lycanper hides underwater during the day, patiently waiting. At night it strikes with its full power. If a Trainer is bitten by Lycanper, it is important to get them to hospital quickly, otherwise they will begin dribbling uncontrollably.
Lycanper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It goads its enemies into attacking, withstands the hits, and in return, delivers a headbutt, crushing their bones with its rocky mane.
