Since Zocoon cannot move while it awaits evolution, it disguises itself as other Pokémon to trick its foes into running away. It usually drinks rainwater, but sometimes it will transform into a child to beg for berries.
It prepares for evolution using the energy it stored while it was a Wurmple. To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon.
