Chandeleon's flames are the result of the huge amounts of electricity constantly produced from its fur. Upon contact, a Trainer or Pokémon will unintentionally receive a harsh shock. With steady training, Chandeleon may be able to control it.
Its cells generate weak power that is amplified by its fur's static electricity to drop thunderbolts. Being consumed in Chandeleon's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
