Pipras swims at a leisurely pace, but to move fast will freeze water with Ice Beam and then swiftly slide across the slippery surface. It will let people ride it to open, cold water where they can fish, but only if they share their catches.
Pipras takes pride in the number of times they've helped ferry humans across water, flaunting their count over others with lower numbers. They sometimes even fight over which of them will get to carry a passenger in need.
People have driven Pipras almost to the point of extinction. Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people.
