Despite its fearsome jaws, Gibmer has a playful nature and enjoys surfacing to startle boaters. It often eats broken fishing lures and tangled line as a source of food, luckily fishing hooks aren't able to penetrate its thick stomach lining.
While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. It nests in small, horizontal holes in cave walls.
