Gardechamp uses its psychic powers to increase the weight it lifts when training. When in a pinch, Gardechamp will decrease the force of gravity on itself to become exponentially faster.
It is impossible to defend against punches and chops doled out by its four arms. It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power.
