Sandplume block sand from their eyes with their leaves, helping them travel in harsh sandstorms. When they sleep, they wrap their leaves around themselves to disguise as tumbleweeds, waking up in the morning in a burst of sand as their leaves unfurl.
In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Sandplume turns yellow with the powder as it walks. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly.
