Having one claw heavier than the other really bothered Hitmonler at first, but then it adapted. It puts the heavy claw over its abdomen to gain rotation speed, then releases it, combining the weight of the claw and the moment of inertia generated.
It waves its huge, oversized claw in the air to communicate with others. Its technique of kicking while spinning is a remarkable mix of both offense and defense.
