On the rare occasion of large scale territorial disputes between Pokémon, Octiterra will allow others to aim its powerful cannon-like mouth to great effect. Many intelligent Pokémon seek to ally themselves with Octiterra for this very reason.
Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests. It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow.
