Solor are made out of a unique gel that changes viscosity when exposed to stress. This allows them to ram into solid objects without breaking the surface tension of the fluid around them.

Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. Because their bodies are enveloped in a special liquid, they can survive in any environment.
