Skretini slide into gaps between rocks in coral reefs, poking their heads out to investigate divers passing by. They shed their old skin by rubbing on the rocks, and while this skin feeds the reef, a freshly shed Skretini is toxic to the touch.

A Skretini continually molts and sloughs off its old skin. Camouflaged as rotten kelp, they spray liquid poison on prey that approaches unawares and then finish it off.
