Shubink clings to cave and tunnel walls, feeding on molds and fungi by collecting them with its slimy appendages. It is popular with gem collectors since it eats a stone clean of debris, then spits the polished gem onto the ground.

Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body. A Shubink hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries.
